WHEN SHOULD I GET BREAST LIFTING?
Breasts often become droopy due to hereditary, constitutional factors, or due to pregnancy or significant weight loss. When the breasts are of high-volume, weak elements of the connective tissue may also lead to the sagging of the breasts in the course of time.
Visible results of the corrections reached by breast lifting, performed by individual claims:
more aesthetic breasts,
firmer impression,
appropiate size.
HOW IS BREAST LIFTING DONE?
Prior to the procedure, general and local examinations have to be done to value the risks of the treatment. The procedure is always performed in general anaesthesia.
Essence of the procedure is that the sunk nipple is positioned higher, and the superfluous skin is removed.
Part of the breast lifting correction may be the reduction of overly large breasts or the augmentation of breasts of too small volume with implantation; these may be the matter of consultation.
Length of the procedure is 2-3 hours, compulsory clinical stay-in is 1 night.
HEALING AND RECOVERY AFTER BREAST LIFTING
The patient should avoid any sport or other activity that involves intense shoulder or pectoral muscle movements for six weeks. Though in most cases of medical procedures, operations may be accompanied by the swelling, haemorrhage, possibly inflammation of the given region, or scarring disorders may occur, these are becoming rarer and more easy to treat – due to the development in medical science.
Work capacity returns in 10-14 days, sutures are removed in 14 days.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Amount and size of the surgical scars developing as a result of breast surgery procedures depend on the extent of the sagginess of the breasts. Incisions around the nipples are always necessary; in minor cases these are the only scars.
In the cases of significant sagginess, breast surgery involves a further, vertical scar, running from the lower part of the nipple; and an arched, transversal scar in the mammary fold in the cases of even more advanced sagginess.
Possibly partial or full numbness of the nipple may arise as a specific risk of breast lifting and breast reduction; circulation disorder of the areola region may also appear in rare cases.
